IMERT at the Air and Water Show

IMERT News - 8/20/2007

On August 18th and 19th IMERT pre-deployed to Chicago on standby for the 49th annual Chicago Air and Water Show. The Air and Water show is the largest spectator event in the United States with over 2 million people attending over 2 days. This event is the second time in the past two months that IMERT has worked with the City of Chicago and the Chicago Fire Dept. to provide medical coverage should a catastrophe occur during a large celebration. We look forward to continuing to work the City of Chicago and the Chicago Fire Dept. to help provide for the safety of the people of the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois.
