IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT IMERT UNIFORMS

The IMERT uniform shall only be worn to IMERT sanctioned events (training, deployments, meetings etc). If you are unsure if wearing your IMERT uniform is appropriate dress then please contact a staff member at the IMERT Office
All team members will be in uniform for all training sessions, meetings, and IMERT deployments
During a team members call cycle their uniform shall be neat and ready at all times
Additional clothing, pins etc may only be worn with the permission of IMERTEC and/or a designee of the Illinois Department of Public Health
The black BDU pants and BDU shirt / coat that were the official IMERT uniform before the change to khaki will be acceptable for trainings and deployments until April 2011
Do not mix and match khaki and black BDU pieces. BDUs should be either all khaki or all black
IMERTEC and Training Committee members may wear the IMERT polo shirt, turtle neck etc. for administrative functions (ex. when serving as faculty for education courses)

BDUs and Other items

BDUs are an OPTIONAL part of the IMERT-INVENT Uniform. If you are looking for BDU items, Nametapes, Boots, etc check out BDU.com Military Grade (remeber to get BDU items in kahki!). Alternate provider of Nametapes can be found at Ranger Joes
